Dr Callum Brewerton
Callum was born and bred in South Australia, moving to Albany with his fiancé at the beginning of 2022, he has since fallen in love with the region and now considers Albany home.
Callum took the scenic route to become a Doctor, having completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences, a Bachelor of Nursing and Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Sciences before he embarked on his medical studies. Dr Brewerton completed his medical degree in 2019 at Flinders University in Adelaide, and spent a large portion of his time as a medical student in the Northern Territory, ranging as far as Alice Springs and Nhulunbuy in Northeast Arnhem Land.
After relocating to Albany, Callum commenced work at Albany Health Campus where he has spent the past 2 years, he is excited to begin his GP Specialisation with Southern Regional Medical Group.
Outside of life as a doctor Callum enjoy several outdoor activities; fishing, kayaking, and camping to name a few. He’s an avid sports fan with interests in AFL and cricket, and also loves a good book with a glass of wine and enjoy gaming when time permits.
