Dr Cristina Vizgarra

Cristina relocated to Albany from Argentina after marrying her husband, who was born and raised in the region. She quickly fell in love with Albany’s stunning natural surroundings, welcoming community, and relaxed lifestyle, making it the perfect place to continue her career as a General Practitioner.

Cristina completed her medical degree in Argentina before undertaking specialist training in Internal Medicine overseas. Her extensive experience enables her to provide comprehensive, patient-centred care, taking a holistic approach to managing both acute and chronic health conditions while recognising the important role of family and support networks in achieving positive health outcomes.

Having grown up in a multicultural household, Cristina speaks multiple languages including Spanish and Italian, and values the opportunity to care for people from diverse cultural backgrounds. She is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and delivering compassionate, personalised care to individuals and families within the Albany community.

In her spare time, Cristina loves walking, bike riding, enjoying her father-in-law’s homemade red wine while read a book, and exploring new travel destinations with her young family.
