John graduated from the University of WA medical school in 1981.

He has had extensive experience in most areas of medical care in rural, isolated and urban environments.

His approach to care is not disease focused, rather, it aims to improve the quality of life of individuals and their families facing the problems associated with both acute and chronic illness.
