Dr de Klerk qualified in 1990 in South Africa at the University of Pretoria and moved to Katanning in July 1999. He obtained his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002 and moved in 2006 to Albany.

Currently his special interest includes family medicine.

In his spare time Pieter does a bit of fishing and to cope with an empty nest (kids at uni), he has started restoring old cars. Pieter enjoys working at SRMG and loves the sharing of knowledge and the vast experience and qualifications between all his colleagues.
