Dr Purnata Keenoo
After completing high school on the picturesque island of Mauritius, Dr. Keenoo pursued her medical studies at The Volgograd State Medical University in Russia. In 2018, she joined the Australian healthcare system with an interest in emergency Medicine – dedicating over four years of emergency training at the Royal Perth Emergency.
Now transitioning into general practice, Dr. Keenoo has relocated to the beautiful city of Albany to further explore community medicine and strengthen her commitment to a holistic approach towards a patient’s well-being.
Her multicultural background and international experiences have enabled her to become proficient in five languages, enhancing her ability to connect with a diverse patient population.
Outside of work, Purnata loves traveling to explore the food and flavors of different countries. She is also a big fan of French bandes dessinées and enjoy watching French comedy films.
