Suzanne was drawn to Albany by the beautiful landscapes and country lifestyle after attending Rural Clinical School in Carnarvon in 2018 and completing a placement at Albany Hospital as an intern in 2020. It was here that she developed a passion for rural medicine that ultimately brought her back to the Great Southern.

Suzanne completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2019 and undertook her early training at Fiona Stanley and Rockingham Hospitals. She went on to complete additional focused training in women’s health, pregnancy and labour care at King Edward Memorial and Osborne Park Hospitals, including her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

For the past two years, Suzanne has been part of the team at Southern Regional Medical Group, completing her general practice registrar training with us. She has now achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), marking an exciting milestone in her career.

When not working, Suzanne enjoys good food with her husband and baking up a storm. To relax, she loves a good book or puzzle, particularly on a cold day.
