Jemma Mustey
Jemma completed her Bachelor of Science (Nursing) degree at Curtin University in 1997. She moved to Albany the following year to pursue her nursing career, mainly working in the Emergency Department at Albany Hospital. She began working at Southern Regional Medical Group as a Practice Nurse in 2009, whilst completing her Masters in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner). Jemma has been working in this unique role since 2014.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Jemma is able to work independently to assess patients, order and interpret blood tests, x-rays and other diagnostic tests, as well as prescribe medications and refer to other healthcare providers.
She has a special interest in aged care, women’s health (including pap smears and breast screening), child & family health and asthma education.
